You've probably began to notice the growing availability of bamboo toothbrushes in the marketplace. What's not to love? Bamboo is a grass which means easy to grow, renewable product and far superior to plastic when it comes to environmental impact. Bamboo will naturally return back to the earth, 100% biodegradable. Imagine every single toothbrush you've had in your lifetime - it's probably still floating around somewhere in some dump. Plastic can take anywhere from 10 to over 400 years to decompose. Our toothbrushes don't promise to be perfect but they will decompose at a much faster and cleaner rate than most other options out there. Get them in our store!
Reusing Your Toothbrush
There's always a need for a small cleaning brush - for tiles, grout, shoes, jewelry, etc. Simply wash your brush and reuse! If you're handy, you can break off the top and sand down the end. My favorite idea is drilling a hole and adding a keyring to make your own bamboo Freedom keychain! You can also attach a bell or tassel and make a toy. On a hot day, you can make popsicles and use these handles as popsicle sticks.
End Of Life:
At the end of your toothbrush's life simply use plier to pull out the bristles (they should come out pretty easily), put them in another plastic bottle you're recycling and the handle is 100% compostable.
